5 tips for camping with your dog
Camping with your dog requires a bit of organization. Discover our 5 tips for a top-notch vacation with your beloved pet!
1) Choose a dog-friendly campsite

Yes, it seems obvious, but it's essential, because many campsites do not accept dogs. Make sure you check beforehand to avoid unpleasant surprises!
2) Choose your type of accommodation carefully
Tent, bungalow, converted van, motorhome, caravan or lodge? The offer is vast! In any case, preferably choose a shaded spot with space so that your beloved pet can stretch their legs and find shelter to cool down.
3) Behave impeccably at the campsite
If a wild beast slumbers deep within your beloved Bandit, now is the time to tame it! Indeed, even if the campsite is dog-friendly, it's important to respect the internal regulations. So, Bandits, avoid marking your territory on your neighbors' tent! As for bipeds, don't forget to pick up your dog's waste and keep them on a leash outside designated dog areas. OK guys?!
4) Pay attention to the heat
When camping with your dog, it's very important to monitor temperatures, because inside a tent or caravan, degrees rise quickly in summer. Make sure your beloved pet always has fresh water available and pay attention to their behavior.
Symptoms of heatstroke?
An increase in body temperature (usually between 38 and 39°C),
Excessive and marked panting,
Apathy, your dog walks slowly, salivates, and agitatedly seeks a cool spot.
If your dog shows digestive symptoms: diarrhea or vomiting, go to the vet without delay!
5) Bring all of your dog's essential belongings
Make sure to bring all the things your dog needs (food, bowls, bed, toys, long leash, etc.) to the campsite so they can easily find their bearings. Also, remember the first-aid kit and health record (with up-to-date vaccinations!).
